Outside school and the Young PeopleвЂ™s Philharmonic, Mica has performed in annual studio recitals, countless church appearances and the past three years as part of both the Chaconne Project and the Zimmerman House performances at the Bethlehem Bach Choir May Festival. For the past three years she has been a member of the Young PeopleвЂ™s Philharmonic. She has participated in the PMEA District and Regional Band festivals her junior and senior years and in PMEA orchestra festival her senior year. A senior at Liberty High School she is first chair flute and piccolo and secretary of the prestigious 250-member Grenadier Band and Concert Band and is a member and first chair flute and piccolo of the Liberty Orchestra, 1st Company, Pit Orchestra and also participates in chorus. Micaela (Mica) Azzati has been playing the flute and studying it uninterruptedly with flutist and master teacher Robin Kani for nine years. Outstanding Young Artist 2018, First Place, Micaela Azzati, flute Besides playing violin, he enjoys singing, engineering, and reading, and plans to study both engineering and music in college. Raphael has earned prizes at both the Lyons Fiddle Fest and the Celtic Classic fiddling competition.

In 2016, he performed in Germany, Austria, and Italy with the Washington Preludio Strings. Raphael was chosen by audition to perform at Carnegie Hall three times as part of the Northeast PA Music Teachers Association Honors Recitals, and has received the highest possible grade at the Achievement Awards Auditions hosted by the Lehigh Valley Music Teachers Association for eight auditions in a row. Singing Bass, he has performed in the District 10 and Region 5 Chorus for two consecutive years. He has qualified for the PMEA District 10 and Region 5 Orchestra three years in a row, and for the Pennsylvania All-State Orchestra in 2019. At Parkland High School, he is a member of the Strolling Strings, Chorale, Pit Orchestra, and Tri-M Music Honor Society, as well as serving as a section leader in the Parkland High School Philharmonic Orchestra. He has been studying violin for 12 years with Mary Ann Saylor, and performs regularly with the Valley Suzuki Strings group. Raphael Ettinger-Finley, is a junior at Parkland High School.
